Editorial Roundtable at ASCJ 2026, Sophia University

The Asian Studies Conference Japan was held at Sophia University on 4-5 July 2026. Journal editors active in Japan held a roundtable event to demystify the publishing process for younger scholars, and engage with academics regarding what they would wish to see from the journals serving the field. Japan Review was joined by the editors of the Japanese Journal of Religious Studies, Social Science Japan Journal, Asia-Pacific Journal: Japan Focus, Critical Asian Studies, and the Journal of Asian Humanities at Q-dai for an informative discussion.
