Japan Review is an Open Access journal. The journal is published by the International Research Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken) in Kyoto. All Japan Review content is deposited in Nichibunken’s Open Access Repository, in accordance with the Center’s Operating Guidelines.
The copyright for all manuscripts published in Japan Review resides with their author(s). There are no costs to authors associated with publishing in the journal, and all of the journal’s content is freely available online, in perpetuity and without charge (Note that 7a of the Operating Guidelines does not apply to Japan Review content).
